klib at MassMutual
We took klib to MassMutual, a life insurance and financial services company, for a virtual session. Our founder and CEO Murali built it around reading as wellness, not productivity. Concentration and focus. A way to manage anxiety. The runner’s high a reader knows, and the slow work of connecting the dots that a feed never asks of you.
What made the hour was the honesty in the chat. People said the quiet part out loud. That screens had crowded out books. That they had switched to audio apps that hand them summaries instead. That they wanted the summary without the hours. And then, from more than one person, the real question underneath all of it. How do you get the reading habit back.
That question is the whole reason klib exists. Not to sell anyone the shortcut they already have, but to make the long way back to a book a little easier to take. You do not get the thinking from the summary. You get it from the reading.
